My Mr. is boarding a plane as I type. The dog is whimpering and sniffing around looking for him. I'm just sad.
He's going to do great work and help the Army do important work and come home safely. And I'll be busy with work and friends and classes that start again next week. Three months will fly by - right?

Aw. That really sucks.
ReplyDeleteMy brother-in-law was in Taiwan for almost three months for work recently. My sister said the hardest parts were the very beginning when he first left, and then the couple weeks at the end. She said the middle wasn't so bad... she kind of slipped into a single routine for awhile and kept busy with school and work and people to hang out with.
Oh honey, sorry it took me so long to get over here. I hope you are holding out okay. I think Kristi is right - the first bit and the last bit are hard, but the bit in the middle where you get to do whatever you want can be nice. Be really good to yourself and let yourself establish patterns or do things that you can't do when with a partner. Oh, and...avoid movies in with our Top Five in them. (Or don't :) )
